This event took place on Saturday February 23, 2013. Titled, "Golden Gala: An Evening of Excellence", this award ceremony was held to celebrate our "Golden Girls" of Akwa Ibom State origin who have been in the U.S. from the 60s, 70s, and 80s who have made most of us who and what we are today.
